I graduated in July of 2022 with a First Class Honours in Interaction Design and a Distinction in Professional Practice after completing 4 years at Ulster University, Belfast.
Before attending Ulster University, I achieved a Level 5 HND in Graphic Design at Belfast Metropolitan College. It was there that I discovered my passion for digital design whilst building and designing projects for set briefs.
I have also recently achieved an online, non-credit Professional Certificate through Meta for entry-level Front-End Development.

UI/UX Engineer
Roles and responsibilities:
I work primarily as the UI/UX Engineer however I frequently assist with marketing collateral and company website updates due to my background and skills in graphic design and content creating.
As the UI/UX Engineer, my role within the team is to work closely along side our Product Owner in order to create user stories, prototypes, mock ups and high resolution screen designs whilst following a set of product UI standards and an asset catalogue which I assisted in creating throughout my time working here. These high resolution screen designs are then reviewed by our full product team in order to gain viability of our design suggestions before we write up highly details documents for our development and QA team members to follow in order to recreate the design on the front-end of our products. I also train and mentor UI/UX placement students we recruit on a yearly basis.
